We believe that the traditional tools for understanding the future impact of today's actions are ineffective. Making sense of the future is a process for understanding what future patterns will emerge as a result of current actions. We use the tools of complexity science and System Dynamics to help our clients make sense of the future.

The tools and processes we use work by mapping out the causal structures in the system that lead to ever-changing patterns of events. These tools embrace the concept of time, or dynamics, as fundamental to understanding what is happening today and what the pattern of behavior will be in the future.
